Overated

Hello my loyal subjects (CHEH!) once again I'm here to voice out my opinions. Oh well. Today I had CCA which was rather enjoyable considering the fact that Mr Wong let us off before 12pm and also for the farewell party we had PIZZA! Can you imagine like 7 girls finishing 2 XL pizza? Lol! Then we played games :D So anyway, after CCA we bused to Clementi for KOI, otherwise known as   豆.
Looking at in anticipation

I went there with with a lot of anticipation and excitement, along with Lulu, Shanshan, J'me, Kristabel & Shishi. Seeing that the queue was reasonably short (according to shanshan) we were kinda happy. So after a wait of 15 mins, we got our respective drinks. So...we drank our own drink, and tried each other's drink. Imho, it tastes just like any other bubble tea and it's like freaking 2-3 times the price of SweetTalk. Plus there's like a shit load of PEARLS and it's like super disgusting. Plus, I heard that the amount of Calories found in

How many hamburgers? :P
 20 Pearls = 1 hamburger
No offense to the PEARL lovers. Yeah, you may say " Aiyah can ask for no pearl right? " but hey, what's bubble tea without pearl. The name bubble tea was derieved because, after you shake the bubble tea, there's like a layer of froth on top. Another explantion would be that the PEARLS resemble BUBBLE hence, the name BUBBLETEA. LOL! I don't know which is the right explanation but both kinda made sense to me :D

Anw, we drank our drink until half / 1-4 of the drink was left then we totally felt disgusted. Not one,two nor three. It was like all of us, and all of us agree that KOI is totally not worth your time and money. Why go all the way to Clementi, Bishan, Chinatown or any other KOI stores specially just to get bubble tea when good old SweetTalk is like anywhere and everywhere? So simply dumped the drinks into the bin. FYI, the flavours that we tried were not the unpopular ones lor. Actually, this is not my first time drinking Taiwan milk tea luh. I've tasted the authentic Taiwan milk tea and I think it is way better than the one in S'pore. The only reason why KOI is popular is probably because...

1)  A group of people started drinking KOI and then they spread the word and thus the queue in front of KOI becomes longer. Typical Singaporeans have this mindset that " Oh got queue leh, must be sibeh nice must try! " Oh well. I guess, KOI is just like a trend like...how everybody started to go the NERD style after Hi!My Sweetheart ( Hai pai tian xin ) came out.

2) Health concious individuals/ fussy people that like to decide how much sugar they want can choose to have 0%, 50%,75%,100% sugar. So yeah...actually, you can request for less sugar at other BBT stores what. CHEH!

I really can't stand people that post pictures of their KOI or them posing with their KOI. I mean, is it really that good? Some people srsly act like they cannot live without KOI. How about giving other stores a chance? Why don't I see people going like " I need my SWEETTALK " or " Hey! EachACup after school, anybody" Why must it be KOI KOI KOI KOI. I think that since it's from Taiwan why should it be pronounced as KOI is should be pronounced as  豆 豆 豆 豆 豆!!!!

SAY NO TO KOI

WE DISLIKE KOI

HAHA SO WHAT HAPPENS?

IT GOES INTO THE BIN.

So will I ever go and drink KOI?
NEVER!!!  UNLESS GOT PEOPLE TREAT ME :D
