Joy is mine to keep

Hey guys! It's been a while since my last update. How's life? Great I guess. For my 2 good friends that are overseas, I guess they should be having fun in Langkawi & Bintan. Oh well, I'm sure they'll get me something *wink wink* Alright. Anyway, I met up with Vanessa and we went shopping at Nex. Yeah that new mall at Serangoon. It's like super crowded even on a weekday! People mountain, people sea. I think that Nex is cool because they have a playground ( wet/ dry ) but unfortunately it's not open, yet. :( After walking around a little, and getting all obsessed over Pooh & Friends ( picture below ) we went to her Daddy's shop. I've always love going to her dad's shop cos
1) It's air-conditioned
2) It's near the school. (JSS)
3) I like chatting with her mom and sometimes, dad :D
Plus, her mom has like toner and Optrex eyewash ( which I tried for the first time in my life)

Alright, then Saturday was sort of like random shopping day with my parents and Auntie Bearbear. We went out for lunch at this steamboat/ BBQ retaurant at idk what place. It was pretty awesome considering the fact that we get to eat lots and lots of meat. I love the pork!! Okay, emo. I think I can't marry a malay in future cos I kinda love pork D: Okay, so after the steamboat we all smelt like BBQ pork. Ewww. We headed down to Anchorpoint to walk around. I strongly suggest going to Anchorpoint if you're looking for cheat buys. There're like outlet stores there like Billabong ( there is like a storewide sale going on now. ), Fox ( Also got sale, 20% I think ), Cotton On ( Always 50% off ) and many more. Do check out those stores~ Anyway, I got this pair of denim wedges with straw for the...Inclined plane part? Okay it's not a heel luh but you get me :) It was like around $30 initially. I had my eyes on it since June lor. I got it for only $10!! Good bargain~ Then we crossed over to Ikea. I got several photoframes to make my room look more lively with some photos. The frames cost around $2 ( $1.80) each and has 2 sides. Mean you can rotate everyday :P Then we went to the marketplace (?) and got this tart ( Dark chocolate, $8.20 ), cookies and the IKEA HOTDOGS!!!!  ( didn't take pictures of food )

Okay, next on Sunday after service by Pastor Lian, I've decided to post a little about what I've learnt. Basically the whole service was talking about Keeping your joy. Reason being, in Isiah 12:3, it says that " With joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation." and you know what? Satan can't rob you of your joy if you don't allow him to. Don't keep having negative thought in your mind. Sometimes when you quarrel over petty issues you are losing your joy too. So sometimes it's good to let go and not continue with the quarrel. If you believe in God, life will flow in you like flowing water. Don't go by what YOU see, got by what you see on the CROSS. This sermen really made me understand a lot. For 2010, our motto (?) is Restful Increase. It means to say that you believe to see an increase. Yes by just believeing. So just rest. You start the year with rest and end the year with rest. If you didn't start it with rest, just END it with rest :D For those that are reading my blog, I'm not ashamed to say this but God is a big God, a great God and my Dad. So if you want to understand why, you can just go for 1 service. It's like just go there and listen a bit, who knows? You may find your answer to that question/ issue that has been bugging you :D 

Okay anyway, after service we walked around Suntec and went to Marina Sq. Ohwell, there is like this Korean supermarket there called Shine supermarket. Be sure to take a look in that supermarket as there're like really awesome stuff. I recommend the instant noodles/ ramen sold there. It's like really tasty and much nicer than the fake ramen sold at NTUC (no offense) plus there like testers for the tidbits~ Alright, that's all.
