Hello! I'm in an extremely happy mood today~ Yup you guessed it! I ate lots and lots and lots of good food today :D Plus I went to my favourite place, Fairprice Finest! Whooooo!! I love Fairprice, don't you? I think it's like way better than Bugis or Far East.
Anw, I slept in till 11am today without my dad barging into my room to off my AC. Honestly, I'll wake up once I feel warm. Don't judge me okay! So dad brought me to the bank to do some admin stuff and then we headed down to CHINATOWN. I haven't been there in AGES. Soooo...we went to this China shop called Tian Jin Fong Ji for lunch and let me tell you...the food is awesome!
The dumplings are like sweet and juicy plus the skin of the dumplings are like QQ.
The lamian is "silky" and not too soft, it is like slightly bouncy and you can SLURP the noodles with the Slooooooop sound cos there's like no friction XP The soup is just nice. Not too sour nor spicy :D
Lastly, being a huge fan of Mee Hoon Kuay, I totally loved the Mian Pian Tang. It's cooked with simple ingredients but the taste is heavenly. The Wongbok vege was soft and sweet plus the dried shrimps ( Hei bi ) was like bursting with flavour and lastly the mian pian was so soft and chewy~ I'll definitely go there again. Did I mention that their Chinese Tea includes Hawthorn which is effective in reducing insomnia and cholesterol :D
Then walked around a bit and decided to head down to Fairprice Finest. We bought like damn a lot of things, as usual luh. Then we got cakes and the boss is some guy called Allan. Wow he's like super gentle and polite with a good head for business cos he gave us like one free piece of cake :D Awwww sweet guy <3
Lastly, we went to the Korean Restaurant at Bukit Timah. Gosh, I left the restaurant feeling full and satisfied. The lady boss' sons are like SUPER CUTE! Now you can see why I love little boys! It's a pity that I don't have a picture of them D:
