Sometimes when we see the Bangladash workers, we despise them. We always take them for granted, we fear them and stay away from them. We stereotype then as smelly-dirty blackies isn't it? I know that even though most of us do not say it out loud, deep deep down that's what u think. I admit I used to be like this too. I will go like " eh that bangala damn smelly wa piang ". Now I think differently.
Now I feel that they're like extremely important people to Singapore. Know why?
They contributed a lot to our soceity, their contributions can be seen around us.

Well to make things clearer,
Imagine without these Bangladash workers, would we have any Singaporeans who would be willing to build road under the fucking hot sun? would we have any Singaporeans who are willing to drive cranes and help in building houses, flat or buildings, and sweeping the floor everyday even on weekends, eating rice with curry only everyday. Leading a tough and tiring life with low pay. Sacrificing spending time with their families back in Banglash to earn more, to support their family. What's more the possess qualities that some of us do not even have okay? They have perseverance, they are hard working and they do their work well okay?! Plus, for the sake of earning more money, they would work everyday. Even the littlest thing can make them happy. Like Plain rice with curry, if they found a little piece of potato, they'll savour it like it's a piece of abalone whereas most of us don't even give a damn about a piece of potato.

Sometimes, we'll make unkind comments about the Bangladash workers. When we see them working under the blazing sun under this shitty weather, we snigger and laugh at them while sitting in the car with aircon or under the shelter? Not like they wanted it. If they were rich, they'll just stay in Bangladash and work le can. Why must they come to Singapore to work? Why must they borrrow money from so many people just to get enough money to get an air ticket to work here.

So to all those people out there who look down on Bangladash workers I just want to tell you guys that, instead of judging them by their outer appearance, try to look into their inner side, maybe you might just learn something new about them that is positive?

I know that I don't really have the right to type this post cos I love racist jokes but just now as I passed a group of punks that were disturbing the Bangladash workers I felt that is just wasn't right to tease the Bangladash workers for being tan right?! THEY WERE BORN LIKE THIS AND WORKING UNDER THE HOT SUN DOESN'T MAKE THEM ANY FAIRER OKAY!

Stupid punks with no brains. Empty vessels make the loudest noise. Stupid kids.
